Hello Worshiper, thank you for sharing your comment on what God is doing. Listening to God is one of those "duh" moments, but at the same time one of the hardest things to do. I am glad no one person has a corner on the market for wisdom. We all need another believer to be in our life.

I wish I had found this blog about 6 months ago before leaving my church. ALL the things previously mentioned were examples of how I felt or was experiencing. I ended up right back at the original church because that was where the anointing over my life resided. Although I prayed, met with my shepherd, etc., I now realize I did not exercise the utmost Godly wisdom, counsel and did allow personal feelings to get in the way of sound decision making. When God plants you somewhere, don't leave until HE tells you to go; not because of vulnerability or what you think is right or wrong. For the most part, the above mentioned is sound advice to heed. Let the Lord lead you in ALL things! Thanks for this and I'm sure it will bless someone as it has me!

Hi Floe,
I will try to answer your question. I realize that in today's society, people have a tendency to simply leave a church and look for "greener pastures". I think if a person is deciding to leave, they should be evaluating why and not just because they think something may be better down the road. It really could be better down the road, but some do not put a lot of prayer and thought into it.
I also know that those who stay in the church have a responsibility as well.
But mainly this was for those wanting to leave the church.
